How to Import Contacts to Upccell Step-by-Step

contacts to Upccell step by step and provide you with places where you can collect contacts to help grow your list.

Part 1: Why is it important to import more contacts?

  1. Conversations with subscribers: The more subscribers you have, the more conversations you can have with them. This helps to build a relationship with your customers, which can lead to increased loyalty and more sales.

Part 2: Which contacts should you import to Upccell?

  1. Your regular buyers: We recommend importing the loyal buyer base so they receive your campaign messages and stay updated on your latest products and services.
  2. Recent buyers from other marketplaces: By importing contacts from other marketplaces, you can avoid high sales commissions from those marketplaces and create your own sales.

Part 3: How to Import Contacts to Upccell Step-by-Step

  1. Log in to your Upccell account and navigate to the Audiences section then go to “Import contacts” page.
  2. Click the “Import Contacts” button located in the right upper corner of the screen.
  3. On the start page, you can name your import task to keep track of where you imported files from. Assigning tags to contacts is also a great way to manage your subscriber list.
  4. Select the file that you want to upload by clicking the “Choose File” button. Read through the agreements and check each item before continuing.
  5. Click the “Continue” button and then the “Submit” button to complete the import.
  6. Our internal team will validate the phone numbers you have imported and import only the valid U.S. mobile numbers. Please note that this process can take up to two business days.

After importing your contacts, you can always check the status of your import request by returning to the Import Contacts page. You will receive an email notification once the process is complete.

Part 4: Collecting your buyers' contact information

  1. FashionGo: To export your order history from FashionGo, navigate to the “All Orders” page and search for orders within the last 365 days. Scroll down to the “Shipped Orders” section and increase the list range from 10 to 50. Click “Export PO” and continue to the next page to collect all order history.
  2. Faire: Check the “Orders” page in your Faire account to collect the phone numbers of your buyers individually.
  3. Shopify: Go to “Customer” page and click “Export” to collect the phone numbers of your buyers.
  4. Magento: To export your customer list from Magento, navigate to the “Customers” page and “All Customers”. On the top right section, click “Export” link to export the buyer list.
  5. LA Showroom: Login to the vendor admin and navigate to the “Buyers” and “Customer List” page. Click “Export” to download the buyer list. *Note: process with the primary owner’s account. 
  6. Woo Commerce: Go to “Tools” page, “Import and export users and customers”, and click “Export” tab. Click “Download” to export all of your buyer list with their phone number. *Note: install “Import and export users and customers” on “Plugins” if you don’t have the customer export plugin.
